Chipmunk in the Gutter

My sister was getting dirt for a plant and had me come out to help out. When we went inside to get shovels, on the way in, she heard a scratching sound. She called me over, and I heard it, too. It sounded like a lot of banging. We looked cautiously in the bushes, but there didn't appear to be anything there besides a big bumblebee. So then we noticed the gutter and realized that it sounded like that was what the creature was banging on. I went inside and got my dad. He tried tapping on it, trying to scare the creature down, but it was no use. He also attempted to take off part of the gutter to get the creature out. After removing that part, we saw a tail sticking out. As dad banged on the sides of the gutter, it went up further, scared of him. I went inside after that, so I'm not sure how they got the little animal out, but it turns out that a chipmunk was in the gutter, and after being released, they had no idea where the chipmunk had ran. Just a very random true story about gutters. ;D
